Chic Cupcakes

Written on February 18, 2009 by CincauHangus

Me is hungry. Me is always hungry.

So, I dropped by at Cupcake Chic for a dose of sweetness.

*nom nom nom*

Jaffa - Chocolate orange cake with chocolate orange glaze

Jaffa. It reminds me of my childhood candy, smarties, simply because it tastes like it. Slightly zesty as well. But I found it slightly too sweet. If you’re on a cupcake marathon, eat this the last.

Blueberry Crumble - Blueberry oats cake with oats crumble

If you’re the kind who’s health conscious, you may want to try this Blueberry Crumble. Oats in the crumble with a considerate amount of blueberry jem in the core. Tastes like muesli bars. It’s quite filling as well as oats expands with water. (actually all cupcake does, but this one even more I guess.)

Blackforest - Light cherry chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting

Me favourite. Blackforest. Very moist and not too sweet. Berries in the middle! *nom nom nom*

Lemon Meringue - Lemon cake with meringue topping

Lemons. If you like something zesty but not sweet like the Jaffa, Lemon Meringue is the one. Very slight sour taste which comes with the lemon and chewie to the core. Yes, chewie.

Tiramisu - Coffee infused cake with cheese frosting

Finally favourite of the favourites! Tiramisu! Though I’d like to give a little suspense to you guys on the taste but.. I figured telling you guys that it tastes yummily coffee, vanilla and a touch of heaven would bore you guys. So I’d keep it to myself and wont tell you guys that this cupcake is soooooo moist and again, yummilyyyy.

So get your own, and taste them yourself.

If you’re wondering how much one cupcake costs, it’s RM4.50 per *nom* and lesser if you buy *noms* by the dozen, or even half. Check out their fan page @ Facebook or their official site.
