Robber Shot In Botched Robbery At Petrol Kiosk

KUALA LUMPUR: A 21-year-old man was shot in the left ribs when he tried to attack a policeman with a machete in a botched robbery at a Petronas petrol kiosk in Batu Caves today.

The incident occurred when the policeman went to the aid of a worker, who was grappling with another robber in the kiosk, said Gombak police chief ACP Abdul Rahim Abdullah.

He said the policeman had earlier noticed a scuffle between the two robbers were grappling with the worker. The injured robber was taken to the Selayang Hospital while his 24-year-old accomplice was arrested, Abdul Rahim told Bernama. The police seized a machete and a toy pistol from them.

He said in a follow-up operation, the police nabbed a man and a woman at Taman Selayang and seized three motorcycles with false registration numbers and 20 toy pistols, one hour later. “The duo were tested positive with syabu,” said Abdul Rahim. — BERNAMA

I was brought up in a malay area, studied for 10 years in malay schools, and 90% of my friends were malays. Then when I changed to another school in KL, I lost touch with most of them. Some how we’re all on the wrong side of the Internet. Friendster vs Facebook, MSN vs YM.

I had a chat with a bunch of close primary & high school friends just yesterday. It’s been a while since I met up with them, 1-2 years? Brought back memories of the time where I had the only PlayStation in the school, and had like daily gaming sessions after classes – till my dad locked it up. Hahaha. Those were the days. Showed them my battle scars.

Anyways, one of them were quite in tuned with the rempit scene around the area, because his younger brother is usually racing on the DUKE, and he pretty much knows everyone here in the neighbourhood. Mind you, it’s a bloody big neighbourhood. The people I know around here are only my own schoolmates. He shed some light about rempits around here and I found out that basically, everyone knows everyone. It’s like the blacks and their own gangs in the America. Somewhat similar lah.

I got him to help me check who were the people that robbed me a month ago.

Seems that the robbers who hit me were most likely not from our area. Outsiders. The local rempit around the area know each other quite well, from one end to another. So most likely they wouldn’t rob their own neighbourhood for some petty cash. If they do, I’m pretty sure they’ll be dead by now.

He’s gonns dig for more info for me. Benefits of the only taukeh around here. Hahaha.

My 5 minutes of heaven? Running over them while their own parangs slices through their guts slicing them into half in the middle of the highway just before a 16-wheeler ploughing through.

But I guess some exceptions have to be put in because there weren’t many cameras around (or more like not many brought it out..) and also so happened the first meet was coincide with Sunway Freeze for *something*.

Lol. I don’t remember what was the freeze about any more.

That silly girl didn’t write a card to us, nor wrap the presents with beautiful wrapping paper. Instead, she wrapped them in aluminum foil and wrote her message on that same foil. In the end, parts of her ‘essay’ were lost in transit. Though she did sent a tiny stick-on note.

I’m wrapping them up in foil so the chocs don’t melt. i figured since i wrapped the chocs in foil, i might as well wrap the perfume too to get the maximum ‘no melt’ effect. i have no idea how effective this will be. don’t judge me, i was an art student all the way! =P Anyways I hope you all like the presents. You may consider them xmas-cum-birthday presents since i won’t be seeing you all till next year. XO
