Push or Pull the door?

Crossroad.
Have you watched Hell’s Kitchen’s latest season? Have you watch the finale?
If yes, imagine standing at the door. Your only options is to pull or push the door, but only one way will open the door. You make your decision in your mind, yet wonder is it the right choice.
You press on the knob, hoping you made the right decision.
It’s really a 50-50 chance, but yet, it’s life changing. Well, it may be life changing.
I’d hope it would be an easy one as well, but it’s certainly not. Perceptions and rumours may be spreading, but I think it’s time I’d care less.

Game of odds or game of principles?
The road not taken. It’s surely a gamble, and will come with consequences, but does the odds stack up? What about the benefits and the losses? Which would outweigh the other?
The road taken. We know how this ended before, but it still stick to your principles and plus you’ve toughen up from the previous blow.
Quantifying winnings and losses. -10, 0, +10.
0 will just bring a dim light of hope. -10 will bring destruction while 10… 
Maybe it’s time to take the other road? Be selfish for once? Quantitative analysis doesn’t apply anymore, only qualitative experience exposure analysis. Just making stuff up as we go along.
