3 for the Price of 2

After much persuasion, I finally got the book, Tuesdays with Morrie. After some online surveying, the book price varies from different versions, and paper type. I’d prefer the better paper quality and font, but it’s slightly more than the usual price of RM29.90.

Then we stumbled upon a book offer (read: title). Weirdly, all 3 books were not the same price. RM 36 for the two other books, and RM29.90 for Tuesdays with Morrie. Got me thinking a while, wondering which one would be free.
Last I remembered, it’s the store’s policy (or any commercial institutions) that whenever there’s a discount/offer like this and there’s a price difference, the lower priced item will be the free item.
When I paid, and there it was, the RM29.90’s Tuesdays with Morrie was deducted from the invoice.
But why the lower priced one? Can’t it be the higher priced to please the customers? 
Anyways, 3 books. One shared between the both of us, but she still has a book that she haven’t read yet. Two more for me to read during the breaks of breaks in the holidays I have. This holiday is no longer a holiday anymore but time to get everything sorted out before moving on to the next phase in life.
Unfortunately someone has been saying that holiday is holiday and that I’m showing off coz I got nothing to do.. >(
Event rehearsal today. Not busy but ada stuff to do. Whatever that means.
I could hear you screaming “quick! thank me! thank me!”
